NFL-logo2007-10-24-1193242258.gifCincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry was cleared to return to on-field practice by the NFL on Wednesday.

Henry had been suspended by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for the first eight games of the 2007 regular season back in April, for a host of off-field run-ins with law enforcement and additional violations of league policy.

The eight-game ban is set to end following Cincinnati's game against the Buffalo Bills on November 4.

Henry, the third-round pick of the Bengals in 2005 out of West Virginia, has 67 receptions for 1,027 yards and 15 touchdowns in 27 games over two seasons. He was also suspended two games last season for violating the NFL's personal conduct and substance abuse policies.
