Charlotte school security

There is heightened security today at
Police say a 14-year old girl stabbed a 15-year old boy with a bread knife. It happened during lunch period.
The school does have security measures in place. Students are randomly scanned with a walk-through and hand held metal detectors. But, now, every student will go through metal detectors and it will be that way for the foreseeable future.
The victim was taken to Strong and is expected to be ok. The girl has been charged.
