A Rochester man is behind bars after nearly hitting two sheriff's deputies with his car early Sunday morning.

22-year-old Justin Whitney is charged with two counts of reckless endangerment and for driving while intoxicated.

Around 1 a.m. deputies responded to an underage party at Duxbury Circle in Victor. While they were interviewing witnesses, Whitney sped away and nearly hit one deputy standing by the road. He continued down the street and nearly hit a sheriff's sergeant.

State police caught up with him 20 minutes later.
