Mercy grad Abby Wambach and star of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team was back in Rochester Sunday for a soccer clinic. About 600 kids had the chance to "kick it around" with Abby at Total Sports Experience in Gates. Wambach and other coaches ran drills on ball control, dribbling, passing and shooting. She also gave the kids a little advice about "keeping your head in the game" in more ways than one.

"With the obesity rates climbing, recess being cut out, living well is not an option anymore it's a necessity. I think the better and the more I can get that across to these kids, the better chance at success they'll have down the road,” said Abby Wambach, a member of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team.
Wambach is an Olympic medalist. She has been a regular on the U.S. Women's National Team since 2003.
