Funeral today for Latasha Shaw

Family and friends will gather this morning for Latasha Shaw's funeral.
Shaw was killed last Saturday while trying to break up a fight at Dewey and Driving Park.
Last night mourners gathered to remember Shaw at the site where she was stabbed and left for dead.
Since her murder, the intersection has been a staging point for many anti-violence rallies. Last night, Mayor Duffy was among those who spoke out about the need to stop the violence in the city. "To have something as horrific as a mom just chased down, attacked and killed in that manner, it's something that defies what Rochester's all about and I think that there needs to be a change in the process, but it takes everybody."
Shaw's funeral will be held at the Grace United Methodist Church at 121 Driving Park Avenue. It begins at 11:00 this morning.
