Cold case murder arrest

A developing story today involving a murder from 31 years ago.


64-year-old James Pressler is under arrest for the murder of a Rochester girl in 1976. Pressler was taken into custody in Florida, in Big Pine Key. That's where he lives.


Pressler is now charged with the murder and sex assault of 7-year-old Michelle McMurray. McMurray was found dead outside a house on

Jay Street
back in April 1976.


Police are holding a news conference on this arrest at this hour and we'll bring you new details as soon as they become available.
