Monroe County gears up for Special Olympics

SpOlympics_logo2007-10-03-1191422227.jpgThis weekend Monroe County will play host to the Special Olympic's New York Fall Games. This years games will be held at Total Sports Experience on Elmgrove Road. Over 1,000 athletes and coaches from all over New York are expected to attend. All Special Olympic events are free and open to the public. This year's games are just the first of four state competitions to be held in Monroe County over the next three years. Rochester will also host the 2008 Winter Games this February, the Fall Games in 2008, and the Winter Games in 2009,
