School lawsuit vote

maggiebrooks2007-10-01-1191277674.jpgSchool districts across Monroe County will soon come together to vote on whether they will sue Monroe County over Maggie Brooks's Fair Plan.

           

According to the plan, the county budget crisis would be fixed by reducing the amount of sales tax that supports education. Some school officials say brooks is overstepping her bounds and they want to ask the courts to enforce the current sales tax law.


This Wednesday at , at the Rush Henrietta Transportation Center, education board members from school districts in the county will meet to discuss possible legal action. The public is invited to attend.
