Rochester firefighters spent nearly three-hours Sunday on the city's west side putting out a fire at a vacant home.

They arrived at 25 Ries Street around 3 a.m. to find the home engulfed in flames. They got the fire under control in about 20 minutes, but stayed on site until 6 this morning, checking for remaining hot-spots at the two-story home. Investigators say the fire started on the back porch.

It has been ruled suspicious.
