Updated: September 18, 2007
ESPN.com is reporting Bills injured tight end Kevin Everett could be heading home. A source close to the family says Everett may be transferred to a hospital in Houston, Texas as early as this weekend. Dr. Barth Green, chairman of nuerological surgery at the University of Miami confirmed the transfer plans. Green says Everett is now sitting up, eating and continuing with his rehab. Green calls these significant signs of progress. Green also says its positive, psychologically for a patient in Everetts condition to be around friends and family as he continues with rehab. According to the source, Everett is excited to be going home.
