John Riedman and the Riedman Foundation are donating $200,000 to build a picnic shelter and permanent bathrooms.

The Riedman Foundation already funds the hatchery's staff, maintenance and other support as part of a partnership with Monroe County.

Construction is set to begin this week and should be completed by November.
