What a difference a day makes. Here's a quote from the Buffalo Bills orthopedic surgeon: "We may be witnessing a minor miracle." Those words from Doctor Andrew Cappuccino on Kevin Everett.
A situation that was dire, very grave, has improved dramatically.
According to our affiliate WIVB-TV in Buffalo, Everett has voluntary movement of his arms and legs. Dr. Cappuccino is leaving it well within the realm of possibility that Everett, one day, may walk again.
Everett suffered a major spinal injury during Sunday's game with the Denver Broncos.
Earlier Tuesday, Everett's mother Patricia Dugas issued a statement through the team, thanking the fans, Bills organization for their support and prayers. Prayers that seem to have been answered.
Stay with us for continuing updates on Everett's condition.
