More implosions planned at Kodak park

kodak2007-09-11-1189522302.gifKodak plans to implode three more buildings at Kodak Park.

Building 50 along Lake Avenue will come down this Saturday, September 15th, at 7am.
Buildings 65 and 69, near the southeast corner of Lake and Dewey Avenues will be imploded on Saturday, September 22nd at 7am.

Kodak will set up public viewing areas, but they will be very limited and more than 1,000 feet from the buildings to be impoloded.

For Bldg. 50 on September 15, Lot 40, south of Keehl Street will be the only available viewing area.


For Buildings 65 and 69, Lot 42, north of Eastman Avenue, is the designated viewing area.

Kodak imploded two other buildings back in July.  The buildings are no longer needed as the company continues its transition to digital.
