Dayton_sCorner2007-09-09-1189392073.jpgA one-room schoolhouse in Penfield is celebrating a special birthday Sunday.

Dayton's Corners is celebrating 150 years. Once a school for kids in Penfield and Webster, it's now a living museum. It's the only rural schoolhouse in the area that has not been converted for other use. Many fourth graders in the area visit the schoolhouse as part of their curriculum.

The school is listed on the National Register of historic places.
