Parents of kids in the Rochester City School District came out to hear from potential candidates for the School Board. The Social Justice Council of the First Unitarian Church held the event Sunday night. About 60 people asked the candidate questions. One mother was concerned about the leadership the School Board holds.
"One of my major areas of concern is really making sure that the leadership is appropriate in the Rochester City School District. I think we have really great leaders. I think we also have to make sure that the accountability measures are there to make sure that the leadership is reflective of the student population," said Nicolle Crocker, a parent.
The Board will take into consideration the input gathered from Sunday night's public forum.
