Farm Aid Tour

FARMAIDTOURA2007-09-04-1188943865.jpgFarm Aid made a stop in Rochester's Public Market Tuesday morning.


The tour is criss crossing New York State to raise awareness about family farms.   The tour ends this weekend with the annual farm aid concert in New York City Sunday. 


Since Farm Aid started, more than 30 million dollars to fund programs that help farmers. 


"The purpose of the caravan is to link what's going on upstate of family farms to the concert in NYC.  We're going to be stopping at 14 different farms along the way, picking up food from farms,” says Mark Smith of Farm Aid.


Tickets to the Farm Aid concert are available through TicketMaster.   Farm Aid is in its 22nd year.
