Jury deliberations are expected to begin today in the case of a Rochester mother accused of smothering her 23-month-old son. Police say 26-year-old Jessica Santiago placed a blanket over Lashawn Dunbar to stop him from crying. The incident happened in may of last year at their Weld Street apartment. Santiago faces second degree murder charges. If convicted, she could spend 25 years to life in prison.
