New York State Police will man 12 checkpoints across the state, along with 9 under age drinking details and 2 saturation patrols.  Troopers will also be looking at whether drivers and passengers are properly restrained.

State Police say there were 538 crashes last Labor Day weekend, which killed 16 and injured over 130.
