If you're packing for a flight today, don't forget to bring a good book. That's the advice from the nation's top aviation official, who says plan on spending a lot of extra time at the airport if you're planning on flying today.
Federal Aviation Administration Chief Marion Blakey is advising travelers to bring a good book along, arrive at the airport early and be prepared to wait if you're traveling on this start of the Labor Day weekend.
This has been the worst summer ever for airline flight delays, with one in four flights since June suffering some sort of delay.
