RIT president addresses students

Doctor Bill Destler gave his first address to the RIT campus community today. He discussed his goals for the University and his ideas to make RIT a school of innovation. Destler says he's also excited for the new semester to begin.


Destler joined RIT this summer after the former president Albert Simone stepped down.    


Destler was formerly senior vice president for academic affairs and provost of the University Of Maryland at College Park.
