Newport House development public hearing

NEWPORTHOUSE2007-08-27-1188236980.jpgA public hearing will take place in Irondequoit Monday evening to discuss housing plans on the site of the former Newport House.


RSM Development purchased the property for 3.7 million dollars the original plan was to build 10 townhouses and 54 condos.  But now a scaled back version is being put forth.   The new plan calls for 10 residential town homes and 48 residential condominium units in a waterfront development district. The plan will go in front of the Irondequoit planning board.


The public hearing begins at 7 o'clock tonight at Irondequoit Town Hall.
