Rash of violence brings familiar vow, familiar plea

Another slew of violent days and nights in Rochester marred by shootings, robberies, and homicide has brought forth both a familiar vow and a familiar plea from the city's Top Cop.RPD Chief David Moore says this type of violence "will not be tolerated" while reminding citizens police can only do so much and that it's up to them to make streets safer, both by not hesitating to call 9-1-1 when they see something suspicious , and to be more forthcoming with information to officers investigating crimes.
