BLOOMFIELDMEETING2007-08-23-1187886616.jpgThe Bloomfield School District is holding a meeting for parents Thursday night after the recent arrest of one of its workers.

 

Long-time custodian Dahl Rodgers was arrested this week and charged with having sexual contact with a 16-year-old boy. The boy was a student at the school and a family friend. 


Rodgers has been fired from the district.  Letters have been sent home to parents notifying them of the situation. Authorities believe this is an isolated incident, but because Rodgers was heavily involved in youth and community groups anyone who may have new information is asked to contact police.


Tonight's meeting is for parents only.  It's set for at the school's Performing Arts Center.
