B&L drops lawsuit

Bausch and Lomb has dropped a lawsuit against one of its chief rivals for an ad that came out after last year's massive contact lens solution recall.

B&L contended that Alcon used the colors red and yellow in an advertisement to indicate that it was dangerous to use Bausch & Lomb products.

You'll recall bottles of Renu with MoistureLoc were pulled from shelves worldwide last year amid eye infection concerns.
