Former teacher admits to bank robbery

A former Pittsford school teacher pleaded guilty Thursday to robbing a bank earlier this year.


According to police, 41-year-old Michael Bohn robbed the Tompkins Trust Bank in Cortland at gunpoint taking around $16,000.


Bohn worked at the Allendale Columbia School in Pittsford. He worked at the school for more than ten years before he was fired.


Bohn faces up to 12 years in prison. He's expected to be sentenced next month.
