Woman struck by minivan on Carter Street

CARTERSTACCIDENT2007-08-16-1187283209.jpgA woman has been taken to the hospital after being hit by a minivan last night. The accident happened just before 4:00 this morning on Carter Street.  Police say the women was talking to someone at the time when she stepped into the roadway and was hit by the van. She did suffer head injuries, there's no word yet on her condition.
