Congressman Jim Walsh Will be in Wayne and Monroe counties today to discuss efforts to protect and preserve the Great Lakes.
At 10:00am, Walsh will attend a dedication of the Red Creek Waste Water Treatment Project.
This new facility will serve Cayuga and Wayne counties by providing reliable sewer service and improving overall water quality.
Then today at 11:15, he will hold a press conference to address the issue impacting the bays and lake.
Walsh will also highlight the completion of the Great Sodus Bay Resource Preservation And Watershed Enhancement Plan, in Williamson.
Walsh will end the day in Webster with a 1:00pm event to announce his co-sponsorship of the Great Lakes Collaboration Implementation Act.
He will also highlight the passage of the Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Restoration Act.
