Charges may be filed in death of baby who died in hot car

Wyoming Countys District Attorney is expected to decide today whether to charge a Franklinville mother, whose baby died, after she left alone him for hours inside a stifling hot SUV. Thirty-two-year-old Lynn Brol apparently forgot to drop her 5-month-old son off at daycare before heading to work in Arcade last week. She returned to her vehicle nine-hours later to find the infant dead in the back seat. Authorities say the case could be sent before a grand jury, or DA Gerald Stout could file charges, including criminal negligent homicide.
