with boots in hand...hoping to fill them to the brim for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. It's an annual tradition that many of the firefighters say is just another way for them to reach out and help others.

Firefighter Steve Sudore says, "It allows us to give a little something back to the community, it's our job to go on EMS calls and people that need us everyday, this our way to donate our time. "

Last year, they raised $6,500. They're hoping to beat that amount this year.

Firefighters from all across the nation take part in this annual fundraiser. Click here to find out other ways to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
