Man dies after being struck by a van in Henrietta

HENRIETTAFATAL2007-08-01-1185980801.jpgA man has been killed after being struck by a vehicle in Henrietta. The accident happened shortly after 10:00 last night at Jefferson Road near Ridgeland Road in Henrietta. We're told the man was hit by another person driving a van. The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. At this time its not clear if the man was trying to cross the street or was walking on the shoulder of the road. The driver of the van was not hurt.
