CAMPBELLSTHOUSEFIRE2007-08-01-1185980693.jpgRochester firefighters responded to a house fire on the city's west side Tuesday night. The fire broke out in the first and second floor of a home on Campbell Street just after 11:00 p.m. It appears the house is vacant, and that renovation work was being done on it. Deputy Fire Chief Martin McMillan says at one point, flames shot out of a window, melting the siding of a nearby home, forcing those residents to be evacuated. No one was injured in the fire, the cause of the fire is not yet known.
