Webster man hits 80-year-old woman and then a dump truck on Rt. 96

Traffic was detoured around a section of Route 96 Tuesday afternoon. Kevin Overton of Webster went across the center line and hit a car driven by an 80 year old woman, then bounced back over the line and hit a parked dump truck. The woman was trapped in her car for a while. Overton has been ticketed for unsafe passing. Both drivers were taken to Strong Hospital with minor injuries.
