Cooperstown is Cal's town this weekend

6COOPERSTOWN_halloffame2007-07-27-1185576375.jpgCooperstown Calls Cal this weekend. Former Rochester Red Wing Cal Ripken is being  inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame. Sports director John Kucko is covering the ceremony.


Induction weekend as Cal Ripken Junior and Tony Gwynn will receive baseball's biggest honor. Thousands are converging on this tiny village. A bunch of fans from the Orioles and Padres are in town. Inside the hall, exhibits are on display that features both inductees. Officials expect close to a record crowd - upwards of 50,000 coming in this weekend. Sunday's ceremonies will be at Clark Sports Center.
