GREENTEAM2007-07-25-1185384683.jpgThe city of Rochester is going green. Wednesday morning, Mayor Bob Duffy rolled out his Green Team.   The project is designed to find ways to conserve energy and save money.

Green Team members will conduct an energy audit of the City's seventy smaller facilities including recreation centers, fire houses and NET offices. The audit will outline ways for the City to use less energy by switching to renewable energy

So far since 2002, the City has saved taxpayers close to $150,000 a year through upgrades and conservation measures.

The energy audit will begin later this month.
