A runaway military train crashed near Ft. Drum just before 9 a.m. Monday.

Two flat-bed traink cars loaded with equipment from the 10th Mountain Division broke loose and crashed into a maintenence vehicle owned by railroad company CSX.  The equipment was being shipped to Iraq in preparation for the unit's deployment in September.

No one was hurt and an investigation is underway into the cause of the derailment.
