Onondaga County has reported its first positive case of West Nile virus this year.
A crow that was found in Baldwinsville has tested positive for the West Nile virus.
Officials will now keep an eye on the area around where the bird was found to see if there are any pools that could breed mosquitos capable of transmitting the virus.
No human cases of the virus have been found in the state so far this year.
