Garden Party Theme: "Getting To Know You Tea"- Incorporate decorations and foods to have fresh herbs and flowers!
Table: Decorate the table with fresh flower petals! Include Mint Plants as favors and attach the following recipe:
Beverage: Serve Raspberry Mint Iced Tea -
Tomato Basil Tea Biscuits: Prepare Scottish Oat Scones with plain yogurt or sour cream. Cut into small circles. Bake and cool. Cut in two to make sandwich. Layer with prepared Parmesan Pesto spread, a slice of plum tomato and fresh basil.
Parmesan Pesto Mix Directions: Make a tea sandwich spread: Beat 8 oz. softened cream cheese and 2 T. softened butter with mix. Top with thin cucumber slices or ham. Cut into wedges or triangles.
Raspberry Mint Iced Tea 4 heaping tablespoons TT Fruity Raspberry tea 3 cups boiling water 2 tablespoons sugar 1/2 cup fresh mint 5 cups cranberry raspberry juice fresh raspberries slices of lemonMake Fruity Raspberry tea using the 3 cups of boiling water, steep 5 minutes. Remove tea filter and add sugar. Mix and let cool. Add mint, soda and fresh raspberries. Garnish with thinly sliced lemon and mint. Serve over crushed ice. Enjoy!
