World of Wildlife Educational Encounters (W.O.W.E.E.) is America's foremost wildlife educational organization, conducts school assemblies and outreach programs to teach people about the wonderful world of exotic animals and to promote awareness of rare, threatened, and endangered species, as well as native wildlife.
WOWEE is a non profit wildlife educational organization that grew from another called WEEA. As WEEA and now WOWEE, we have been staging live, exotic animal programs for kids in a six county area for over ten years. Our programs are always enthusiastically received by kids of all ages.
Our goal at WOWEE is to connect kids to the world of nature. Their exciting personal experience with our animal ambassadors will instill a sense of wonder, affection and respect towards all the inhabitants of our planet, regardless of species.
Nellie came to us as a young wolf and a rescue a few years ago through DEC. She is about 7 years old. She is very sweet tempered and has been used in education programs since we got her. Nellie was in Ohio with another educator for about two years because we were working with Juno and did not have a place for her in our own programs. She returned to us in the spring of this year. Nellie and Juno have become fast friends and enjoy running and playing together in their new, enlarged enclosure. As wolves are pack animals, they need the company and these two certainly appreciate it.
