"This is my all time favorite show," says Cara. "Thoroughly Modern Millie is about a girl from a small town, actually in Kansas, who goes to New York City to become a star and finds true love. It's such a corny play but I absolutely love it."

Cara certainly knows what it's like to dream of a life on stage. "It's been my passion since the second grade," she says. "I was in "Annie" here, I played Mollie, and ever since then I just love being on stage."

Cara has already racked up experience in school plays, community theater, private vocal and dance lessons, and radio broadcasting. Classmates and teachers call her a workhorse, who pitches in behind the scenes on costumes and sets to bring a production to life.

Musical director Shelly Thompson says, "Sometimes the people are just into themselves and performing and she's really a team player person and just a real individual. Cara's not a diva."

Cara will attend Messiah College in Pennsylvania, where she'll study Theater and Communications. She's dreaming big, just like the character she plays on stage.
