Knighthawks Run Out Of Gas In Calgary

The Knighthawks built a 7-1 second quarter lead before Calgary scored eight consecutive goals, on their way to a 12-9 win over Rochester in Canada Saturday night. It was the second game in as many days for the Knighthawks, who beat Colorado Friday night. Calgary used a 5-0 third quarter to erase a 7-4 halftime deficit. Rochester scored early in the fourth quarter to close within 9-8, but the Roughnecks scored another three in a row to put the game away. Shawn Evans scored two goals and five assists for Rochester while Shawn Williams had two goals and four helpers.
