Amerks hit the road

Rochesters western road swing kicks off on Tuesday, February 10th as the Amerks travel to Wells Fargo Arena to take on the Iowa Chops in a non-divisional matchup. The 8:05 p.m. EST contest will be the second of two meetings between the two teams this season The Amerks dropped a 4-1 decision to the Chops in the first ever game with Anaheim Ducks affiliate back on December 5th at The Blue Cross Arena. The Amerks cross over into Illinois state borders the following night and will remain there the rest of the week as they head to Allstate Arena to take on the defending Calder Cup champion Chicago Wolves. Faceoff is slated for an 8:00 p.m. EST start. The Amerks are 0-0-0-1 this season after falling short in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Wolves and are 5-3-3 all-time against the two-time Calder Cup champions. The I Wireless Center is the next stop on Rochesters itinerary on Friday, February 13th as the Amerks attempt to extinguish the Quad City Flames for the second time this season. The Amerks earned their first win of the season with a 5-4 victory over the Flames on October 24th on home ice. Opening faceoff is set for 8:05 p.m. EST. Rochester is 1-2-0 lifetime against the Calgary Flames affiliate.
