News 8 Now shines the Scholastic Arts Spotlight on Bailey Fantauzzo, a senior at Nazareth Academy. Bailey makes dance look easy, but she works hard to perfect her art. She's been dancing since she was 3 years old, and began taking lessons at the Rochester City Ballet when she was in 8th grade. By the time she was a sophomore in high school, she was invited to be part of the company's professional division!
Bailey's teachers say her fellow dancers look up to Bailey because she's always giving 100 percent. She's won multiple dance awards for her technique and choreography. For all her hard work and dedication, she's been accepted to the dance program at the University of Cincinnati. Bailey shines in competition, and says she feels most herself when she's dancing. Congratulations, Bailey Fantauzzo!
