Syracuse Guard May Be Suspended

Syracuse guard Eric Devendorf may soon be suspended for the rest of this basketball season.

Devendorf was found guilty today of violating the student code of conduct and a judicial board sanctioned him with an indefinite suspension that will last at least all of this year.

Devendorf was accused of punching a female student in the face back in November. He can appeal and he will continue to play basketball as long as the appeals process is ongoing.

But, if upheld, the suspension reportedly would prohibit Devendorf from even being on campus until after the spring semester.
