State and Local Police are stepping up their efforts to catch drunk drivers this holiday weekend.

The Saint Patrick's Day "Stop-DWI" Crackdown will start Friday March 15th and run until Sunday March 18th.

D.W.I. checkpoints will be set up all over the area.

Police say the campaign is an effort to raise awareness of the dangers of drunk driving and to reduce the number of injuries and deaths from driving under the influence.
