Rochester Public Market--Juan Contreras confirmed Tuesday that he has narrowed down his new restaurant location to two places: Railroad Street or the corner of North Goodman and Main Streets. He said they need to add a new location to accommodate for the increased demand. The founder of the Chilean cuisine restaurant also said they've out grown their current Rochester Public Market location. "We only have a few hundred square feet," Contreras said. "I think 300 square feet. So, you can only do so much, with so little, for so long."
He said he's been approached by several grocery chains interested in selling his product. He said he'd need a new, U.S.D.A. approved kitchen to produce the food.
Contreras expects to have a decision made by Wednesday.
