Victor Man Charged In Standoff

The Ontario County Sheriff's department has charged a man after an all-day standoff in Victor.

Ryan Whidden, 31, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon. Deputies say he barricaded himself inside his home with his wife. It started Monday morning when residents in the Ketchum Street neighborhood called police after hearing shots fired. The standoff ended around 8:30 p.m.

Whidden remains in the Ontario County Jail on $50,000 bail. Deputies say more charges are pending.
