Batavia ND Wins Impressively In State Quarters

Melanie Taylor topped Batavia Notre Dame with 26 points as the Irish romped past Sherman 70-32 in the Class D state quarterfinals Saturday at Buffalo State College.
Riley Norton added 14 points and six rebounds.
Batavia Notre Dame will next face Fort Edward from the Albany area in the state semifinals. The game tips 10:30am on Saturday at Hudson Valley CC, which is also near Albany.
