Aquinas Season Ends In Rout

Daequan Warren scored 19 points to lead McKinley over Aquinas 79-52 in the Class A state quarterfinals at Blue Cross Arena Saturday night.

Lovell Smith and Marcus Moore each added 16 points for McKinley, who led by only five at the half, but outscored Aquinas by ten or more in each of the last two quarters.

Kyron Allen led AQ with 14 points.

McKinley shot 54% from the field and made 8 of 13 from three point range. The Lil' Irish, on the other hand, made only three of 22 three-pointers.
