LeRoy Man Arrested for Stealing High Voltage Wiring

Police say a LeRoy electrician is in jail after stealing high voltage wiring.

28-year-old Michael Nicomento was arrested on burglary and larceny charges. LeRoy police say he cut wiring to a warehouse, industrial plant, and other sites while high voltage electric was still on.

They say the first theft happened in June and numerous other thefts happened between October and this February.LeRoy Police say the thefts happened in LeRoy and the city of Rocheter.

Nicomento is in jail on $25,000 bail. Further charges are possible.
