Douglas Irish Pleads Guilty To Wife's Murder

The Perinton man accused of the murder of his wife has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

Douglas Irish, 57, was charged back in 2011 for the murder of Patricia Irish at their home on Rosscommon Crescent. Police say he stabbed her and then tried to kill himself back on September 30th. The plea means Irish will receive 25 years in prison and he will not be able to appeal.

Irish will be in court for sentencing on April 22nd.
